The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Natalio Basualdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico França in the 4th minute of play. Anibal Dolfo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Natalio Basualdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Basualdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas França in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a corner. GangsTaz F. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tadeu Britto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tadeu Britto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GangsTaz F. C.'s Natalio Basualdo did a great save. Natalio Basualdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico França in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes GangsTaz F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Dolfo. In the 23rd minute, Nicolas França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Garcia. After having played for 31 minutes, Paolo Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GangsTaz F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Gartzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Basualdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico França, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Nestor Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Frederico França notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GangsTaz F. C.'s Natalio Basualdo. Natalio Basualdo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico França in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Basualdo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Taurino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Taurino came free, but Karim Bado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urbano Claus charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nicolas França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Natalio Basualdo made a huge save. If Nestor Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Frederico França sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natalio Basualdo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Hermon came free, but Karim Bado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karim Bado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Taurino in the 70th minute of play. GangsTaz F. C.'s Natalio Basualdo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save GangsTaz F. C. from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, GangsTaz F. C.'s Natalio Basualdo got control of the ball when Frederico França tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nereo Chano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Karim Bado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ made a substitution. Renan Tepedino replaced Sidnei Sanches. With a little luck, GangsTaz F. C.'s Natalio Basualdo got control of the ball when Frederico França tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frederico França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Basualdo having to interfere. After some careless play in the GangsTaz F. C. defense, Frederico França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natalio Basualdo. The GangsTaz F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natalio Basualdo should have stopped the shot. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
