Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donato Vachon kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Ulises Hernandez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Torekov's Kristian Albom. Kristian Albom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kristian Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Gaufred in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Torekov defense, Nicanor Gaufred kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Albom. The Torekov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Albom should have stopped the shot. Kurt Bergendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Ulises Hernandez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristian Albom skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Torekov getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Kurt Bergendahl hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, Palermo's Rafael Hondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristian Albom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Nicanor Gaufred scored 0-4 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristian Albom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Donato Vachon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 24th minute, Donato Vachon made a precise shot to the right of Kristian Albom. Torekov's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 27th match minute, Torekov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Ersman to maneuver through the defense. Kristian Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Hondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Kristian Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Hondo in the 36th minute of play. Kristian Albom came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo's Donato Vachon. But to his dismay, Donato Vachon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 40th minute, Rafael Hondo made a precise shot to the right of Kristian Albom. Torekov's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. After the first half Palermo were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Donato Vachon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Kristian Albom made a huge save. After 53 minutes of play, Palermo's Rafael Hondo made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristian Albom was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Vachon got free with Kristian Albom in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristian Albom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Torekov's Kristian Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Hondo in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Donato Vachon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristian Albom. Torekov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Vachon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. In the 77th minute, Rafael Hondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. Kristian Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Vachon, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ulises Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Kristian Albom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo. Torekov's Kristian Albom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Torekov from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Palermo's Nicanor Gaufred dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-17. Kristian Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Oton in the 95th minute of play. Palermo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
