In the 14th minute Mustafa Necati Başok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Ziombkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menderes Tekdoğan in the 19th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaser Memduh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sarı kaya FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
