When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Demis Laggizos sped through Funebrero FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Atilano Intxixu. The audience was convinced that Demis Laggizos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilano Intxixu was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Cordarin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. GREEN LIONS's Vaggelis Pantelidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Cordarin in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Demis Laggizos lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Atilano Intxixu. In the 56th minute, Dimitris Petriniotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, GREEN LIONS's Demis Laggizos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atilano Intxixu. Atilano Intxixu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. GREEN LIONS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filippos Kopelis in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute of the match GREEN LIONS got a corner. Funebrero FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filippos Kopelis ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Dimitris Petriniotis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ruben Balesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Intxixu was a little too slow when Filippos Kopelis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-6. Demis Laggizos let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 79th minute shot 0-7 at rihgt post. Atilano Intxixu stood somewhat misplaced when Demis Laggizos came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 83 minute. The GREEN LIONS fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when GREEN LIONS's Demis Laggizos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
