Alin Geamănu hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes, Sarı kaya FK's Taro Misaki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sarı kaya FK reached it. Gigel Rânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Necati Başok in the 9th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Felix Nisporeanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Furkan Gurbet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gigel Rânceanu came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarı kaya FK's Mustafa Necati Başok. But to his dismay, Mustafa Necati Başok quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Taro Misaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute Mustafa Necati Başok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Rânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nurettin Denizer took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigel Rânceanu. Gigel Rânceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Gigel Rânceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Necati Başok, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 55th minute Yaser Memduh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Rânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sarı kaya FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mugurel Răduț was slow to take the kick. During this time Fotbal Club Vaslui's players had a chance to rest. Gigel Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taro Misaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrei Vârjean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Furkan Gurbet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Sarı kaya FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rüştü Betim to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Necati Başok got free with Gigel Rânceanu in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when Sarı kaya FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menderes Tekdoğan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurel Halipa during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sarı kaya FK's Taro Misaki got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sarı kaya FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
