The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Vârjean got free with Atilano Intxixu in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Fotbal Club Vaslui defense, Ruben Balesio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigel Rânceanu. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigel Rânceanu should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute Liviu Mușătescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Intxixu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Andrei Vârjean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Funebrero FC's Atilano Intxixu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvano Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bishen Tangaa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Funebrero FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fotbal Club Vaslui:s goal. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Fotbal Club Vaslui. Mugurel Răduț stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Atilano Intxixu. 1-1. If Ruben Balesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Nisporeanu came free, but Atilano Intxixu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mihnea Fânaru got a free kick in the 94th minute. A collision led to Funebrero FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Silvano Cordarin hit a great ball. Atilano Intxixu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Vârjean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atilano Intxixu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Vârjean in the 100th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
