The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Cordarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nahuel Losada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Funebrero FC's goalkeeper Atilano Intxixu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Funebrero FC booed when Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Shantala didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Silvano Cordarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Arsenio Lekubegi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes of play, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Casimiro Lore made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Intxixu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Ruben Balesio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nahuel Losada. That made the score 1-2 in the 37 minute of play. Silvano Cordarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Nahuel Losada made a huge save. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Casimiro Lore sped through Funebrero FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Atilano Intxixu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Cordarin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Gonzalo Rameriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgrano LOS PIRATAS and the Funebrero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Basilio Valiente tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Nahuel Losada seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. After a long run with the ball, Basilio Valiente did a trick in the 56th minute in front of Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-3. An impressive performance by Funebrero FC's Basilio Valiente! In the 64th minute, Silvano Cordarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Silvano Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nahuel Losada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Balesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Antonio Shantala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Funebrero FC the free kick. Fidel Elija didn't quite understand what happened when in the 81 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The supporters of Funebrero FC booed when Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Rameriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Lore in the 89th minute of play forced Funebrero FC's goalkeeper Atilano Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Eulalio Guillem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Funebrero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano LOS PIRATAS the free kick. If Silvano Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Belgrano LOS PIRATAS were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Funebrero FC side.
