After 4 played minutes Türk Polis Gücü got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Birol Nuratay. In the 5th minute of the match Nicanor Ramos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şimşek Saraçoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Gencalp Ceylan fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Türk Polis Gücü's protests and gave Gencalp Ceylan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Anibal Manilan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The La Scaloneta fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when La Scaloneta's Emanuel Garoa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Emanuel Garoa hit a great ball.
