The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Lucio Montrelle put in a rough tackle. 14 minutes into the game, one of C.A.C. 10:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Teodoro Rameriz had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Rony Sergipano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Rony Sergipano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Teodoro Rameriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aristides Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Claudinho Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Macedo was a little too slow when Angelino Abancens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Angelino Abancens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Claudinho Macedo made a huge save. After 41 played minutes Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Garcia. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmílson Senna was the one to do the kick off. Teodoro Rameriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Aguiar in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Angelino Abancens notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Claudinho Macedo. Claudinho Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teodoro Rameriz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Josué Aguiar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 73 minute of play. In the 78th minute, Angelino Abancens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
