The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 minutes of play, Internazionale-RS's Jorginho Soares made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximilian Wallin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute Jorginho Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Dino de Toledo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Maximilian Wallin to make any attempt to save it. When Dino de Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internazionale-RS's protests and gave Dino de Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. Dino de Toledo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper David Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Jorginho Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Samuca Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internazionale-RS's protests and gave Samuca Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho de Amaral in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximilian Wallin saved FC Copiad from getting behind. Ingvar Dalkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 minutes, Narciso Ceresso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Internazionale-RS and the FC Copiad players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Narciso Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, FC Copiad's Karl-Axel Nyberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Godoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Copiad reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingvar Dalkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Copiad's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Soares came free, but Maximilian Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Copiad's Filiph Uggla suffered a concussion after 53 minutes and had to leave the field. Ronaldinho de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldinho de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Internazionale-RS's Ronaldinho de Amaral got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Internazionale-RS defense, Kristian Vibjörnsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Godoi. The Internazionale-RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Godoi should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute of the match Samuca Montenegro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximilian Wallin skillfully saved the ball. Dino de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Wallin having to interfere. When Ronaldinho de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Internazionale-RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldinho de Amaral couldn't finish the play. Maximilian Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Soares in the 77th minute of play. Kristian Vibjörnsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but David Godoi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kristian Vibjörnsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, David Godoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Kristian Vibjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Internazionale-RS were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Copiad for much of the match.
