Eugenio Izotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Anacleto Eutor made a huge save. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Anacleto Eutor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Izotz in the 6th minute of play. Anacleto Eutor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Izotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ovidio Txurio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anacleto Eutor. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. But to his dismay, Ovidio Txurio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 22nd minute, Roque Caton made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Calvino. Rafaela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 27 minutes into the match, Eriberto Navarro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anacleto Eutor, 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Zeledon Locaio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anacleto Eutor. That made the score 5-1 in the 31 minute of play. Alonzo Jesco's late challenge caught a Rafaela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonzo Jesco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Alonzo Jesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Eugenio Izotz scored to the left of an out of position Anacleto Eutor, making the score, 8-1. A collision led to Los Muñes de Don Cuco getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Roque Caton hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
54 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Izotz came free, but Anacleto Eutor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
