Fidel Abadie came out of the goal and Zeledon Locaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Locaio in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Abadie saved Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Locaio in the 9th minute of play forced Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's goalkeeper Fidel Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Quinton hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Paulo Senon hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Guaberto Cordaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Quinton. Rafaela FC's Zeledon Locaio got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Prospero Calvino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 30th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Calvino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Fidencio in the 31st minute. 39 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Quinton. When Zeledon Locaio fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rafaela FC's protests and gave Zeledon Locaio a yellow card for diving instead. Zeledon Locaio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

Zeledon Locaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Abadie having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Quinton in the 57th minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristian Fidencio came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Fidencio couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Haroldo Quinton hit a great ball. Gustavo Amato took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fidel Abadie. Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 67th minute, Eriberto Navarro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fidel Abadie, passed just outside the right post. Prospero Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Quinton in the 70th minute of the match. If Haroldo Quinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Abadie was a little too slow when Eriberto Navarro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's goalkeeper Fidel Abadie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Locaio in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Abadie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Eate to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Txurio during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Rafaela FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Txurio. Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
