Fly T.T's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Copiad the free kick. A collision led to Fly T.T getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Darnell Youngblood hit a great ball. Clair Williamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Wallin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fly T.T's Humberto Gorman got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Demetrius Miller made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Dalkvist in the 52nd minute of play forced Fly T.T's goalkeeper Myles Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Myles Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Dalkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Copiad's Jim Lööf quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Burl Reeves, made in the 58th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the game, FC Copiad's Patrik Tinglöf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 78th minute, Fly T.T's Demetrius Miller ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maximilian Wallin. Maximilian Wallin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Demetrius Miller hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Ingvar Dalkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Myles Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Kristian Vibjörnsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Myles Berger was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. If Patrik Tinglöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
