Flávio Netto started the match with the kick off. Ronaldinho de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig-Åke Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Flávio Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Internazionale-RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Netto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Kinell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Max Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Internazionale-RS's zone, Harald Specht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Godoi came out of the goal and Harald Specht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harald Specht came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Godoi could save by the left post. After 24 minutes, Max Persson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nykvarn and the Internazionale-RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Persson to maneuver through the defense. Michel Kinell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Soares in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper David Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harald Specht. Roberto Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roberto Sena hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Tomasz Czajka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldinho de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Michel Kinell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harald Specht hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Michel Kinell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harald Specht in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Godoi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomasz Czajka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Czajka to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Harald Specht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomasz Czajka struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. David Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nykvarn. Nykvarn made a substitution. Viggo Samuelsson replaced Harald Specht. Ronaldinho de Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Michel Kinell made a huge save. Roberto Sena was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 75 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's Jorginho Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Kinell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Czajka, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Flávio Netto's late challenge caught a Nykvarn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio Netto helped the player get up and apologised. Flávio Netto hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Internazionale-RS's David Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Samuelsson in the 80th minute of play. David Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomasz Czajka went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Internazionale-RS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nykvarn.
