The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vladimír Žemľa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Herrera went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the match, Furia Albiceleste's goal looked a bit too open when Jozef Koštialik came free, but Guillermo Caradaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Višňa in the 13th minute of play forced Furia Albiceleste's goalkeeper Guillermo Caradaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Rojas hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's Jozef Ondruš sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Caradaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miroslav Vašáry hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Guillermo Caradaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jozef Višňa went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Višňa in the 25th minute of play forced Furia Albiceleste's goalkeeper Guillermo Caradaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Caradaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jozef Višňa in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Higinio Herrera lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Vladimír Žemľa. With a little luck, ŠK Horelica's Vladimír Žemľa got control of the ball when Higinio Herrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Herrera in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimír Žemľa saved ŠK Horelica from getting behind. Vladimír Žemľa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Fernando Quinteros in the 34th minute. Aquiles Jakobe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Vladimír Žemľa made a huge save. Vladimír Žemľa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Fernando Quinteros in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Vladimír Žemľa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Jakobe. Miroslav Vašáry kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Higinio Herrera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mojmír Rybárik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higinio Herrera made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Jakobe came free, but Vladimír Žemľa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimír Žemľa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Jakobe in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Furia Albiceleste getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Mario Osoitz hit a great ball. In the 66th match minute, ŠK Horelica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Weber to maneuver through the defense. Vladimír Žemľa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Herrera in the 68th minute of the match. Vladimír Žemľa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Herrera's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Fernando Quinteros in the 82nd minute of play forced ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Vladimír Žemľa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Jozef Višňa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ŠK Horelica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jozef Višňa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the ŠK Horelica defense, Juan Fernando Quinteros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimír Žemľa. The ŠK Horelica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimír Žemľa should have stopped the shot. 96 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Godoy came free, but Vladimír Žemľa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Furia Albiceleste were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ŠK Horelica for a fine match.
