INTER de Córdoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olivos Futbol Club the free kick. In the 16th match minute, INTER de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Hever to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aquiles Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Jusepe charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermengildo Jusepe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Olivos Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Jusepe. After 25 played minutes, INTER de Córdoba's Guido Christobal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robustiano Nel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INTER de Córdoba reached it. Aquiles Erruki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. INTER de Córdoba's Aquiles Erruki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Romano in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, INTER de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Erruki having to interfere. Aquiles Erruki was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Roberto Romano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roberto Romano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Suarez to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Domingo Selatse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Aquiles Erruki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Roberto Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, INTER de Córdoba's Lorenzo Llorienzo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Lisandro Guter's late challenge caught a Olivos Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Guter helped the player get up and apologised. Olivos Futbol Club's Benedicto Patrido got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingo Selatse's late challenge caught a INTER de Córdoba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Selatse helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Olivos Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Selatse. When Luisito Quintun came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Olivos Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Quintun couldn't finish the play. Benedicto Patrido got in the 75th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Aquiles Erruki handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to Olivos Futbol Club getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Luisito Quintun hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Roberto Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivos Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Romano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquiles Erruki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Patrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Hermengildo Jusepe was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hermengildo Jusepe hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
