In the 11th minute Jozef Koštialik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 马霖森 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 马霖森 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jozef Koštialik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. A collision led to ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】 getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Kenneth Will hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jozef Višňa managed to get in a good position for a shot. ŠK Horelica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jozef Višňa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 马霖森 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jozef Koštialik in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 马霖森 saved ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】 from getting behind. When 柯林榕 fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】's protests and gave 柯林榕 a yellow card for diving instead. 柯林榕 kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kenneth Will stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chip Barijho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A wasted opportunity for ŠK Horelica. 58 minutes into the game, ŠK Horelica's Miroslav Vašáry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 马霖森 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Kenneth Will's late challenge caught a ŠK Horelica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenneth Will helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Kenneth Will hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】 defense, Marek Goliáš kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 马霖森. The ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 马霖森 should have stopped the shot. Chip Barijho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vladimír Žemľa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Koštialik in the 88th minute of play forced ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】's goalkeeper 马霖森 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Jozef Višňa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ŠK Horelica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 马霖森 came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by ŠK Horelica's Jozef Višňa. But to his dismay, Jozef Višňa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0.
