But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Orlanda couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the game, Olivos Futbol Club's Tomas Suarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillermo Caradaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, Higinio Herrera notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Olivos Futbol Club's Robustiano Nel. Robustiano Nel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 minutes of play, Furia Albiceleste's Aquiles Jakobe made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robustiano Nel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Furia Albiceleste's Freddy Lopes got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Tomas Suarez made the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Caradaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Orlanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Patrido scored 3-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillermo Caradaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
