After 2 played minutes Fragleses got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Ruszczyk. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fragleses's goalkeeper Radomil Kolano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Hoffman got free with Henning Sæmer in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Radomil Kolano came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Nordsjælland's Dimitar Berbatov. But to his dismay, Dimitar Berbatov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Fragleses's goal looked a bit too open when Sindre Walle came free, but Radomil Kolano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariusz Markowski kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Sindre Walle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Nordsjælland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 27th minute, Pablo Bernhoft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernard Cebula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Sindre Walle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomil Kolano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sindre Walle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radomil Kolano was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Dimitar Berbatov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radomil Kolano. Fragleses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitar Berbatov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 38 minutes into the game, FC Nordsjælland's Dimitar Berbatov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radomil Kolano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Sindre Walle came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC Nordsjælland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sindre Walle couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when Fragleses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leszek Ruszczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomil Kolano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Nygren, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyryl Harasimowicz was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Fragleses booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Bernhoft didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Fragleses's goalkeeper Radomil Kolano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sindre Walle. Sindre Walle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radomil Kolano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Radomil Kolano made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Sindre Walle sent off a good shot on target. Henning Sæmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Harasimowicz in the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Pablo Bernhoft mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Nordsjælland and the Fragleses players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Harasimowicz in the 66th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Henning Sæmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomil Kolano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitar Berbatov went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Nygren in the 93rd minute of play forced Fragleses's goalkeeper Radomil Kolano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Sæmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Hoffman in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Nordsjælland walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
