Kryspin Walicki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Trevor Burns came out and tried to block the shot, but Kryspin Walicki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute Paul Mantu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trevor Burns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Eusebiu Curea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Pope in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panait Buga to maneuver through the defense. Kryspin Walicki took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trevor Burns. Trevor Burns dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Eusebiu Curea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Dimmock in the 24th minute of play. Paul Mantu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Eusebiu Curea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darius Dimmock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dorking United FC's Pete Pope in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's goalie prevented a goal. When Tommy Sparks came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Dorking United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Sparks couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the game, Paul Mantu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trevor Burns. Paul Mantu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Eusebiu Curea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darius Dimmock in the 38th minute of the match. Panait Buga kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Mantu in the 42nd minute of play forced Dorking United FC's goalkeeper Trevor Burns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebiu Curea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Scott Waller went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Dorking United FC's Trevor Burns proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Dorking United FC from getting a goal against them.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kryspin Walicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Kryspin Walicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trevor Burns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Dorking United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kryspin Walicki came free, but Trevor Burns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Dorking United FC got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Lumb. Russ Murray charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Russ Murray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Arges Dacia Pitesti booed when Dorking United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russ Murray didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paul Mantu in the 64th minute. After taking down the ball on FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's corner Paul Mantu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Trevor Burns quite easily take care of the ball. After 65 played minutes, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Herbert Rostow shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Trevor Burns came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Arges Dacia Pitesti reached it. Thanks to some nice moves Scott Waller could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Eusebiu Curea however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to FC Arges Dacia Pitesti getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Mihai Dumitrachescu hit a great ball. Eusebiu Curea made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Scott Waller sent off a good shot on target. Scott Waller's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eusebiu Curea firmly grabbed it by the left post. With his leg Eusebiu Curea managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Dorking United FC's Pete Pope fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eusebiu Curea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete Pope, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Scott Waller's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eusebiu Curea firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 88th match minute, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Mantu to maneuver through the defense. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Paul Mantu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Arges Dacia Pitesti fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dorking United FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
