A collision led to LOS MENTI getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Everardo Tavio hit a great ball. Teodosio Isauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Cesaro in the 9th minute of the match. Fabio Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Isauro having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Siro Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the game, Joaquin Miliano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOS MENTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cementerio Club the free kick. The supporters of Cementerio Club booed when LOS MENTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Miliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cementerio Club's Benito Corderun quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Geronimo Etxekopar, made in the 20th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Handi in the 26th minute of play forced LOS MENTI's goalkeeper Teodosio Isauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Cesaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Venancio Cesaro fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cementerio Club's protests and gave Venancio Cesaro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cementerio Club getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Venancio Cesaro hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes LOS MENTI got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Jaizki. Teodosio Isauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Isauro having to interfere. Romeo Handi took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodosio Isauro. Teodosio Isauro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half Cementerio Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cementerio Club's Benito Corderun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Everardo Tavio in the 58 minute of the game. After some careless play in the LOS MENTI defense, Venancio Cesaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Isauro. The LOS MENTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Isauro should have stopped the shot. After 73 minutes of play, Cementerio Club's Venancio Cesaro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Isauro was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to LOS MENTI getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ismael Tulio hit a great ball. Venancio Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Isauro having to interfere. The supporters of Cementerio Club booed when LOS MENTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Tavio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Cesaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Teodosio Isauro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Venancio Cesaro came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Cementerio Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Cesaro couldn't finish the play.
