In the 9th minute Robert Jităreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Curea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Tutor Militari's Darwin Nunez-Tesheira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Darwin Nunez-Tesheira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tutor Militari protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Darwin Nunez-Tesheira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tutor Militari fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! The referee gave FC Arges Dacia Pitesti a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paul Mantu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tutor Militari's Jokūbas Gott. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Antoniu during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Arges Dacia Pitesti getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Victor Antoniu hit a great ball. Martin Iancu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Curea having to interfere. When Costel Unciuleanu came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Tutor Militari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Unciuleanu couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Costel Unciuleanu could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Eusebiu Curea however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kryspin Walicki in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jokūbas Gott prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 minutes of play, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Paul Mantu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jokūbas Gott was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Tutor Militari's Costel Unciuleanu got a free kick in the 34th minute. With a little luck, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Eusebiu Curea got control of the ball when Martin Arseni tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Kryspin Walicki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tutor Militari's Jokūbas Gott was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Iancu charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Iancu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tutor Militari getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Martin Iancu hit a great ball. Tolunay Erandaç's late challenge caught a FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolunay Erandaç helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tutor Militari! In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for FC Arges Dacia Pitesti. Paul Mantu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jokūbas Gott. 0-3. The supporters of FC Arges Dacia Pitesti booed when Tutor Militari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Unciuleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jokūbas Gott stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kryspin Walicki's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kryspin Walicki was the one to do the kick off. Eusebiu Curea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Unciuleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Arges Dacia Pitesti booed when Tutor Militari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolunay Erandaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Tutor Militari:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Arges Dacia Pitesti:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jokūbas Gott, was totally fooled by FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Paul Mantu, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 65th minute Costel Unciuleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Curea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Dumitrachescu got free with Jokūbas Gott in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Claudiu Iacobeanu got a free kick in the 68th minute. Eusebiu Curea came out of the goal and Costel Unciuleanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Kryspin Walicki was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Kryspin Walicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jokūbas Gott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costel Unciuleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
