The supporters of Enhebrator FC booed when Pan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan José Van De Gucht didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes, Enhebrator FC's Edelmiro Umea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Enhebrator FC reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul-Henri van Nistelrooij during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Enhebrator FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul-Henri van Nistelrooij to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Calderón might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Dantae. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Calderón ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Calderón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Cedro in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Calderón in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Dantae saved Enhebrator FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Calderón in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marteinn Palermo made a kick off. Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marteinn Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Pan FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Pedro José Brodie hit a great ball. Marteinn Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ezequiel Calderón managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Calderón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Dantae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pan FC's Arnaldo Cedro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arnaldo Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Enhebrator FC's Edelmiro Umea got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Calderón cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dante Dantae was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Calderón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marteinn Palermo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enhebrator FC's protests and gave Marteinn Palermo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Pan FC's Ezequiel Calderón ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Dantae. Dante Dantae yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 85 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Cedro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dante Dantae was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pan FC's Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marteinn Palermo in the 90th minute of play. Pan FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
