Válter Alagoano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Pan FC's Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra got control of the ball when Olívio Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Agroboys SM - CIMZ booed when Pan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Cedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, Agroboys SM - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Simões to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Prata in the 24th minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Arnaldo Cedro made a precise shot to the right of Válter Alagoano. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 33 played minutes Natanael Prata rounded Pan FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Pan FC's Ezequiel Calderón got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Válter Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Calderón, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Ezequiel Calderón might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Válter Alagoano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Calderón ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute Ezequiel Calderón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Válbson Rosa made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Calderón got free with Válter Alagoano in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnaldo Cedro struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Válter Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pan FC. After a rather tough play, Pan FC's Cafu Soares got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Ezequiel Calderón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Pan FC's Ezequiel Calderón ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Válter Alagoano. Válter Alagoano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Ezequiel Calderón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Válter Alagoano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Ezequiel Calderón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Válter Alagoano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Agroboys SM - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Zé Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ezequiel Calderón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Válter Alagoano made a huge save. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Válbson Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Válter Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Calderón in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Ezequiel Calderón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Agroboys SM - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Zé Simões. 89 minutes into the match, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Calderón came free, but Válter Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan José Van De Gucht during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
