Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ari Laird started the match with the kick off. Ari Laird could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Stefan Bochinski made a huge save. Tommie Kirkpatrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Hatman, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 8 played minutes FC Wrocanka got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Fleszar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Zahemski during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Norbert Zahemski kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Ari Laird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Stefan Bochinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Hatman came free, but Tommie Kirkpatrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ulryk Hatman put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tommie Kirkpatrick. Tommie Kirkpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Gerlach in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Zdzislaw Gondek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radowit Dziechciowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gary Gamble scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Bochinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stefan Bochinski was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Gary Gamble capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gary Gamble really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulryk Hatman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ari Laird took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Bochinski. Stefan Bochinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 62 minutes into the match, FC Wrocanka's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Laird came free, but Stefan Bochinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Oscar Lassiter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Ulryk Hatman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Kirkpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Gary Gamble shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Bochinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Wrocanka's Bernard Gerlach slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommie Kirkpatrick. That made the score 3-4 after 71 minutes of play. 79 minutes into the match, Bernard Gerlach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommie Kirkpatrick. Creekers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Gerlach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Gamble in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Wrocanka's goalkeeper Stefan Bochinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Gerlach in the 88th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommie Kirkpatrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Wrocanka supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Wrocanka would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
