The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Peter Pilblad sped through FC Wallersdorf's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peter-Stefan Halke. Detlef Karger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes FC Wingspan got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Ferm. In the 40th minute of the match Sascha Großmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niclas Henriksson skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Detlef Karger in the 41st minute of play forced FC Wingspan's goalkeeper Niclas Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Wallersdorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter-Stefan Halke should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Wingspan had won after a very even match.
