Lubomír Formans short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Hakim Frémont to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 15th minute, Rui Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaroslav Mlejnek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, FC Chorchoj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Václav Rosenbaum to maneuver through the defense. Jaroslav Mlejnek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Cavalcante in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Murilo Cavalcante made a precise shot to the right of Jaroslav Mlejnek. FC Chorchoj's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 28 played minutes Paulopolis got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Varela. Jaroslav Mlejnek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Paulopolis were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui Baiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulopolis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Egídio Fonseca in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Egídio Fonseca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jaroslav Mlejnek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Marek Fiřt managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Chorchoj's supporters rose to their feet, but Marek Fiřt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hakim Frémont breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulopolis's Hakim Frémont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lubomír Forman in the 59th minute of play. Rui Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hakim Frémont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Fiřt in the 69th minute of play. Vladimír Adam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lubomír Forman in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hakim Frémont prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Chico Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle went the supporters of Paulopolis were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC Chorchoj side.
