The Blackblue United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbes Astera should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino de Lara in the 12th minute of play forced Blackblue United's goalkeeper Urbes Astera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Flavinho Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbes Astera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Diamantino de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guará FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diamantino de Lara during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Diamantino de Lara hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Urbes Astera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Martinot in the 19th minute of play. When Guará FC's Diamantino de Lara in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Blackblue United's Urbes Astera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino de Lara in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Guará FC booed when Blackblue United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matamba Puredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Guará FC's Diamantino de Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbes Astera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The Guará FC fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Guará FC's Diamantino de Lara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Urbes Astera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Alagoano in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Parrales Unzueta made a kick off. Diamantino de Lara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Urbes Astera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Diamantino de Laras short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Urbes Astera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 60 minutes into the game, Flavinho Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Urbes Astera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 74 minutes into the match, Flavinho Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbes Astera. Blackblue United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavinho Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. In the 79th minute, Diamantino de Lara made a precise shot to the right of Urbes Astera. Blackblue United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Gustave Martinot got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Guará FC fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Guará FC's Diamantino de Lara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-16 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Enéas Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbes Astera having to interfere. Guará FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
