When Dudu Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the S.C.CHUÍ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Tasso couldn't finish the play. Cido Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Diamantino de Lara sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino de Lara came free, but Cido Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino de Lara struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Cido Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guará FC. If Enéas Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavinho Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Schmidt having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Elói Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elói Silva was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, S.C.CHUÍ's Elói Silva got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Flavinho Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diamantino de Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cido Schmidt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diamantino de Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in S.C.CHUÍ's zone, Flavinho Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido Schmidt came out of the goal and Flavinho Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cido Schmidt came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Guará FC's Diamantino de Lara. But to his dismay, Diamantino de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Diamantino de Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cido Schmidt having to make a save. In the 84th minute, Diamantino de Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. S.C.CHUÍ's Cido Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Alagoano in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas Seco in the 88th minute of play forced S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Cido Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. S.C.CHUÍ's Felipe do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, Guará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Cruz to maneuver through the defense.
