The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jarl Kalfhage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Remigio Erramu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Vejbystrand's Jarl Kalfhage got control of the ball when Eustaquio Jaizki tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Jaizki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jarl Kalfhage was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the match, Paolo Caradaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarl Kalfhage. Vejbystrand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Caradaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Paolo Caradaro made a precise shot to the right of Jarl Kalfhage. Vejbystrand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 24th minute, Paolo Caradaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magne Linqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 26th minute of play forced Vejbystrand's goalkeeper Jarl Kalfhage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Paolo Caradaro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jarl Kalfhage. Paolo Caradaro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Vejbystrand's Jarl Kalfhage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Abreu in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Jaizki came free, but Jarl Kalfhage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarl Kalfhage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goalkeeper Jarl Kalfhage had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Jaizki. Paolo Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jarl Kalfhage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarl Kalfhage. That made the score 5-0 after 42 minutes of play. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magne Linqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Arne Karlsson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Magne Linqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Jarl Kalfhage was a little too slow when Paolo Caradaro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 49th minute. The score was now 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Magne Linqvist was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 56th minute of play forced Vejbystrand's goalkeeper Jarl Kalfhage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Benigno Abreu notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Vejbystrand's Jarl Kalfhage. Jarl Kalfhage was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarl Kalfhage made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 65th minute, Eustaquio Jaizki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarl Kalfhage was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Eustaquio Jaizki scored 10-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarl Kalfhage, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarl Kalfhage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Caradaro in the 74th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vejbystrand defense, Paolo Caradaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarl Kalfhage. The Vejbystrand fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarl Kalfhage should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Vejbystrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaba Stopar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarl Kalfhage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Caradaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 79th minute Eustaquio Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Kalfhage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Jaizki notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Vejbystrand's Jarl Kalfhage. Jarl Kalfhage was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jarl Kalfhage came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu. But to his dismay, Benigno Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. Eustaquio Jaizki took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarl Kalfhage. Jarl Kalfhage dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. A collision led to Vejbystrand getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jaba Stopar hit a great ball. Jarl Kalfhage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 99 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Ferdinand. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atlético Atlanta fully deserved thier win.
