Edward Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Abreu having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Stenquist came free, but Narciso Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Jaba Stopar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Abreu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Narciso Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magne Linqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Brasiliense FC's Hugo Porto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarl Kalfhage. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. A collision led to Brasiliense FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Paulo dos Santos hit a great ball. If Felix Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes Brasiliense FC got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Azevedo. 42 minutes into the game, Vejbystrand's Magne Linqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 48th minute Falcão Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Kalfhage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeu Custódio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Vejbystrand got a freekick which was hit by Felix Stenquist. Vejbystrand's Felix Stenquist got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Linqvist in the 64th minute of play. Jaba Stopar's late challenge caught a Brasiliense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaba Stopar helped the player get up and apologised. Jarl Kalfhage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Azevedo in the 81st minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Vejbystrand:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brasiliense FC:s goal. The referee gave Brasiliense FC a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tadeu Custódio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vejbystrand's Jarl Kalfhage. 2-3. Felix Stenquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Falcão Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarl Kalfhage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Fernandez in the 97th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vejbystrand walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
