The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flórián Szeszák kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 6 minutes, Mátyás Benke made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Bucaramanga's David Ospina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Juste Gilmore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Quintero in the 11th minute of play. Várdomb's Juste Gilmore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Várdomb from getting a goal against them. When Perico Luengo fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Bucaramanga's protests and gave Perico Luengo a yellow card for diving instead. Perico Luengo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Juste Gilmore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Quintero's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. A collision led to Atlético Bucaramanga getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ladio Toria hit a great ball. Silban Bonifaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Juste Gilmore made a huge save. In the 28th minute Mátyás Benke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ospina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Máté Szőlősi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juste Gilmore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Quintero's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. David Ospina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andor Pécsi in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Lajos Kossuth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergio Quintero was the one to do the kick off. Andor Pécsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. David Ospina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Endre Zádor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Ospina having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Weterio Caceo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Ospina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andor Pécsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper David Ospina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mátyás Benke. After having played for 66 minutes, Andor Pécsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Várdomb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andor Pécsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute Weterio Caceo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juste Gilmore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute Atlético Bucaramanga were awarded a corner. Silban Bonifaz went to the cornerflag to take it. Atlético Bucaramanga's Silban Bonifaz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juste Gilmore in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silban Bonifaz in the 87th minute of play forced Várdomb's goalkeeper Juste Gilmore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Várdomb getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Flórián Szeszák hit a great ball. After 90 played minutes Várdomb got a freekick which was hit by Flórián Szeszák. After 91 played minutes, Atlético Bucaramanga's Silban Bonifaz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juste Gilmore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Bucaramanga reached it. Sergio Quintero took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juste Gilmore. Juste Gilmore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
