In the 24th minute of the match Per-Arne Svartengren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Paulo Bezerra skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Joseph Bengtsson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, SK Au managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pajala Sunrise's supporters rose to their feet, but SK Au was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Abcdefghijklmno Taofeek Salami hit a great ball. The audience cheered loudly when Egídio Garcia's long shot in the 47th minute became 2-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Axel Ros. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Pajala Sunrise's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by SK Au in the 54th minute. The corner ended in SK Au almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Premier FC's Zé Paulo Bezerra did a great save. With a little luck, Premier FC's Zé Paulo Bezerra got control of the ball when Abcdefghijklmno Taofeek Salami tried to sneak it across the goal line. Axel Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute Afonsinho Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
