The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Fredric Clinton got a free kick in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Morin came free, but Axel Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Junior Stover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Dostie in the 13th minute of play forced Pajala Sunrise's goalkeeper Axel Ros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Pajala Sunrise defense, Junior Stover kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Ros. The Pajala Sunrise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Ros should have stopped the shot. Mario Dostie struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Axel Ros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Qikiqtarjuaq FC. If Jewel Coats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Qikiqtarjuaq FC from getting a goal against them. Axel Ros came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Mario Dostie. But to his dismay, Mario Dostie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mario Dostie scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Axel Ros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin got control of the ball when Well-Well Welle tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mario Dostie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Ros was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 38 minutes of play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Junior Stover made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axel Ros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pajala Sunrise made a substitution. Joseph Bengtsson replaced Ludwig Delin. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jewel Coats got a free kick in the 41st minute. Well-Well Welle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jason Achin made a huge save. In the 44th minute Pajala Sunrise were awarded a corner. SK Au went to the cornerflag to take it. Jason Achin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from SK Au, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Mario Dostie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Qikiqtarjuaq FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Abcdefghijklmno Taofeek Salami made the kick off in the second half. Axel Ros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Dostie showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 51 minute of play. Fredric Clinton kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Qikiqtarjuaq FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mario Dostie hit a great ball. After 57 minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was SK Au who took care of the corner kick. Axel Ros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Stover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61stth minute of the game Junior Stover who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pajala Sunrise's Axel Ros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mario Dostie kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Axel Ros. That made the score 0-6 in the 63 minute of play. Axel Ros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Dostie in the 67th minute. Junior Stover made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 67thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Axel Ros would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Hilario Slaughter was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Axel Ros in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by SK Au in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Well-Well Welle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Jason Achin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by SK Au in the 76th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Jason Achin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Ros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Stover in the 77th minute of the match. Pajala Sunrise's Axel Ros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Stover in the 79th minute of play. Axel Ros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Stover, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 82nd minute Jewel Coats suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Eustaquio Patrick was substituted for Jewel Coats. Mario Dostie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Axel Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pajala Sunrise's Axel Ros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Dostie in the 89th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Pajala Sunrise's Well-Well Welle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jason Achin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. When the match was over Qikiqtarjuaq FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pajala Sunrise throughout the match.
