Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Madaleno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Junior Stover got free with Ermegildo Weather in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruce Morin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ermegildo Weather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jason Achin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Eskuin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santo Tibalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Llorian in the 27th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Jason Achin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Dostie to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Tibalt in the 38th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Jason Achin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Tibalt hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Junior Stover ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ermegildo Weather. Ermegildo Weather yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 45th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erich Stokes to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romulo Eskuin was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Jewel Coats. Santo Tibalt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jason Achin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Eskuin came free, but Jason Achin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jason Achin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Madaleno in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Mario Dostie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Dostie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredric Clinton hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Mario Dostie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermegildo Weather was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Wilfredo Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Konurbano Atletico's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Madaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jason Achin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jason Achin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Eskuin in the 72nd minute of the match. Ermegildo Weather was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruce Morin took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermegildo Weather. Ermegildo Weather dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 89 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Dominguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Konurbano Atletico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qikiqtarjuaq FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Konurbano Atletico's Ezequiel Dominguez got a free kick in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Mario Dostie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermegildo Weather. Konurbano Atletico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Dostie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Qikiqtarjuaq FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Konurbano Atletico for a fine match.
