Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) XMAS's Ennio De Nardis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Junior Stover notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of XMAS's Concetto Garibaldi. Concetto Garibaldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mario Dostie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 7 minutes, Junior Stover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Junior Stover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Concetto Garibaldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior Stover's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Di Nino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Fabrizio Eboli got a free kick in the 11th minute. Concetto Garibaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Morin in the 12th minute of the match. Junior Stover recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, XMAS's Ennio De Nardis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Diego Pellicciotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Dostie during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Dostie. Jason Achin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Alfonsi in the 26th minute of play. Jason Achin made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Fabrizio Eboli sent off a good shot on target. Jason Achin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Alfonsi's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute of the match XMAS got a corner. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alessandro Vettori ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 37th match minute, XMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Pellicciotta to maneuver through the defense. Bruce Morin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Hilario Slaughter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XMAS the free kick. Concetto Garibaldi came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Junior Stover. But to his dismay, Junior Stover quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Junior Stover's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Concetto Garibaldi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Junior Stover looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 69 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Zaccardi came free, but Jason Achin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jason Achin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennio De Nardis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72ndth minute of the game Junior Stover who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XMAS's Concetto Garibaldi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Junior Stover in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Concetto Garibaldi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75th play minutes Junior Stover shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Concetto Garibaldi and just under the crossbar into goal. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Junior Stover looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The corner ended in Hilario Slaughter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but XMAS's Concetto Garibaldi did a great save. Hilario Slaughter kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. XMAS's Alessandro Vettori got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
