The audience thought a goal was coming when James Madison got free with Önder Değer in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mario Benitez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Önder Değer made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Nusret Tanyol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bobby De Maerschalck. Les Presidents FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nusret Tanyol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to Les Presidents FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sebastián Piñera hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Ahmet Gündüz Yesari made a precise shot to the right of Bobby De Maerschalck. Les Presidents FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 19 played minutes Hatayspor got a freekick which was hit by Nusret Tanyol. With a little luck, Hatayspor's Önder Değer got control of the ball when Mario Benitez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, James Madison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Les Presidents FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hatayspor the free kick. After a rather tough play, Les Presidents FC's James Madison got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Hulusi Hacıbeyoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bobby De Maerschalck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Les Presidents FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Kemal Kıvanç came free, but Bobby De Maerschalck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bobby De Maerschalck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nusret Tanyol, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Önder Değer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Madison in the 31st minute of the match. Önder Değer came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Les Presidents FC's James Madison. But to his dismay, James Madison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Mustafa Kemal Kıvanç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bobby De Maerschalck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Yesari in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Les Presidents FC's Guilian Vissenaeckens got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Les Presidents FC's Sebastián Piñera seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sebastián Piñera the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Les Presidents FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sebastián Piñera had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Les Presidents FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Hatayspor a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hulusi Hacıbeyoğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Les Presidents FC's Bobby De Maerschalck. 2-3. Bobby De Maerschalck came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hatayspor's Ahmet Gündüz Yesari. But to his dismay, Ahmet Gündüz Yesari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Mümtazer Rahmet's late challenge caught a Les Presidents FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mümtazer Rahmet helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 minutes of play, Les Presidents FC's James Madison made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Önder Değer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Hatayspor were leading 3-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when James Madison made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Ahmet Gündüz Yesari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobby De Maerschalck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mümtazer Rahmet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby De Maerschalck having to interfere. Necaettin Beksan scored 3-5 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bobby De Maerschalck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. James Madison hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st of the match, Ahmet Gündüz Yesari tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Bobby De Maerschalck got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Gündüz Yesari in the 73rd minute of play forced Les Presidents FC's goalkeeper Bobby De Maerschalck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Les Presidents FC's zone, Mustafa Kemal Kıvanç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bobby De Maerschalck came out of the goal and Mustafa Kemal Kıvanç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Bobby De Maerschalck managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Hatayspor's Mustafa Kemal Kıvanç fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Lebrun during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Albert Lebrun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes, Alonzo Koldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Les Presidents FC and the Hatayspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Les Presidents FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Koldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th match minute, Les Presidents FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilian Vissenaeckens to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Hatayspor's Ahmet Gündüz Yesari ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bobby De Maerschalck. Bobby De Maerschalck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-6. After a rather tough play, Hatayspor's Ahmet Gündüz Yesari got a free kick in the 94th minute. Hatayspor's Önder Değer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Madison in the 95th minute of play. Bobby De Maerschalck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Yesari in the 97th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Hulusi Hacıbeyoğlu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bobby De Maerschalck quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
