The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mario Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hatayspor's Emre Vefi got a free kick in the 5th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hatayspor's Nusret Tanyol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bobby De Maerschalck. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Nusret Tanyol kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Les Presidents FC's Albert Lebrun got a free kick in the 14th minute. Guilian Vissenaeckens kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Les Presidents FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hulusi Hacıbeyoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time Hatayspor's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Hatayspor's corner Hulusi Hacıbeyoğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bobby De Maerschalck quite easily take care of the ball. Les Presidents FC's Bobby De Maerschalck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nusret Tanyol in the 29th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Necaettin Beksan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bobby De Maerschalck. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Mümtazer Rahmet hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Les Presidents FC's Bobby De Maerschalck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nusret Tanyol in the 46th minute of play. Bobby De Maerschalck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Gündüz Yesari in the 47th minute of play. Önder Değer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Marcos, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Önder Değer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Marcos in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Ahmet Gündüz Yesari made a precise shot to the right of Bobby De Maerschalck. Les Presidents FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Bobby De Maerschalck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Yesari in the 56th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Önder Değer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 59 played minutes Les Presidents FC got a freekick which was hit by Guilian Vissenaeckens. The supporters of Les Presidents FC booed when Hatayspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nusret Tanyol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Les Presidents FC's Alonzo Koldo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Necaettin Beksan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Les Presidents FC's Alonzo Koldo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Hatayspor's Önder Değer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Marcos in the 74th minute of play. Ferdinand Marcos charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Marcos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ferdinand Marcos was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Les Presidents FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hatayspor.
