Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sergio Caitano took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Aero Björndalen's Niklas Brun got control of the ball when Genaro Argina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roy Roger scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Raymon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roy Roger took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Raymon. Uriel Raymon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Isaac Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niklas Brun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Braulio Pierres in the 18th minute. Gottfrid Adelsköld kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Brian Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Niklas Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Pierres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Aero Björndalen fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Aero Björndalen's Roy Roger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Braulio Pierres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Danel got free with Niklas Brun in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when Aero Björndalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Linquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Danel came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Niklas Brun could save by the left post. Uriel Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottfrid Adelsköld in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Velez Sarsfield's zone, Roy Roger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Raymon came out of the goal and Roy Roger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Roy Roger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aero Björndalen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Braulio Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Jakobsson to make the kick off. Niklas Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Caitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 played minutes Velez Sarsfield got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bidun. Velez Sarsfield's Benicio Danel got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Isaac Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Karl-Ove Elg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aero Björndalen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velez Sarsfield the free kick. Karl-Ove Elg kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Niklas Brun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Marcones in the 65th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Aero Björndalen got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Linquist. 67 minutes into the match, Aero Björndalen's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Marcones came free, but Niklas Brun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Benicio Danel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velez Sarsfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Danel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niklas Brun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Isaac Marcones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niklas Brun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benicio Danel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aero Björndalen were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Velez Sarsfield's much stronger midfield.
