Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carmelo Corderun kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Yo Soy Tu Padre booed when Jurassic Monsters SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Heli got free with Denílson Azevedo in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Carmelo Corderun put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Denílson Azevedo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Corderun in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denílson Azevedo saved Jurassic Monsters SA from getting behind. Justino Heli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Vinícius Grandi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nery Pumpido. Yo Soy Tu Padre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinícius Grandi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jurassic Monsters SA's Denílson Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Corderun in the 25th minute of play. If Carmelo Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Grandi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Denílson Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Corderun in the 35th minute of play. Robinho Arósio's late challenge caught a Yo Soy Tu Padre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robinho Arósio helped the player get up and apologised. Denílson Azevedo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Yo Soy Tu Padre's Carmelo Corderun. But to his dismay, Carmelo Corderun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ermegildo Su recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denílson Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Corderun in the 45th minute.

If Vinícius Grandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 52nd minute, Josué Penha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nery Pumpido. The goal made the score 2-2. 59 minutes into the game, Cipriano Mosen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yo Soy Tu Padre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jurassic Monsters SA the free kick. Josué Penha had several of the Yo Soy Tu Padre's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Nery Pumpido as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vinícius Grandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nery Pumpido having to interfere. Yo Soy Tu Padre's Carmelo Corderun got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Yo Soy Tu Padre's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Grandi. 77 minutes into the match, Josué Penha notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Yo Soy Tu Padre's Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd match minute, Yo Soy Tu Padre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josué Penha in the 87th minute. Cipriano Mosen got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jurassic Monsters SA made a substitution. Sebastião Salgado replaced Agnaldo do Valle. After 90 played minutes Yo Soy Tu Padre got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Mosen. The long shot by Aírton Bezerra in the 91st minute really tested Nery Pumpido's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 94 played minutes Yo Soy Tu Padre got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Su. Jurassic Monsters SA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
