When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Gregorio Gartxot took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Denílson Azevedo to make any attempt to save it. Josué Penha might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Elazar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josué Penha ran back to his position shaking his head. After 8 played minutes Pancha Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Mincho. After 9 played minutes, Jurassic Monsters SA's Aírton Bezerra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florentino Elazar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jurassic Monsters SA reached it. The supporters of Jurassic Monsters SA booed when Pancha Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Quilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pancha Futbol Club's Florentino Elazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Salgado in the 15th minute of play. Josué Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Natã Carioca struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Florentino Elazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jurassic Monsters SA. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Kemen got free with Denílson Azevedo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the game, Josué Penha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Florentino Elazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denílson Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Silban in the 34th minute of play. Denílson Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Cipriano Kemen sent off a good shot on target. Gregorio Gartxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42ndth minute of the game Josué Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pancha Futbol Club's Florentino Elazar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Jurassic Monsters SA getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Josué Penha hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Kemen to make the kick off. Denílson Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Gartxot in the 55th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Josué Penha took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Florentino Elazar to make any attempt to save it. 60 minutes into the game, Josué Penha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Florentino Elazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, Josué Penha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florentino Elazar. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 66th minute, Dario Gumaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Aírton Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Pancha Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Penha came free, but Florentino Elazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Kemen scored 2-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denílson Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 84th play minutes Josué Penha shot 2-5, a short shot which went by Florentino Elazar and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 90th minute Josué Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Elazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Penha in the 91st minute of play. When Natã Carioca fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jurassic Monsters SA's protests and gave Natã Carioca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Natã Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Jurassic Monsters SA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jurassic Monsters SA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
