The referee ignored TurboUC's protests and gave Marcos Guilisasti a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes TurboUC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Guilisasti. If Natã Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josué Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the TurboUC defense, Sebastião Salgado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marino Brunet. The TurboUC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marino Brunet should have stopped the shot. Marino Brunet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Josué Penha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josué Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenaido Davison in the 47th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Denílson Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josué Penha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Xabel Vallejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
