Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Josué Penha started the match with the kick off. Jurassic Monsters SA's Josué Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 3rd minute, Edu Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 played minutes Jurassic Monsters SA got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo do Valle. In the 7th minute Robinho Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Fințescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes Lunáticos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aírton Bezerra who took care of the corner kick. Josué Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Denílson Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Camargo. When Jurassic Monsters SA's Josué Penha in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lunáticos FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovani do Nascimento got free with Denílson Azevedo in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué Penha in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Răzvan Fințescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Zézinho Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Penha in the 25th minute of play forced Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper Răzvan Fințescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Josué Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jurassic Monsters SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Josué Penha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Răzvan Fințescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robinho Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Fințescu having to interfere. Lunáticos FC's Răzvan Fințescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Penha in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes, Luiz Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jurassic Monsters SA and the Lunáticos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Jurassic Monsters SA got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Mendes. Fernandinho Fontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Denílson Azevedo made a huge save. Răzvan Fințescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josué Penha's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Jurassic Monsters SA's Josué Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lunáticos FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Benjamim Gaúcho hit a great ball. Josué Penha took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Răzvan Fințescu. Răzvan Fințescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovani do Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. Denílson Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Lago in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Jurassic Monsters SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Salgado to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Lunáticos FC defense, Josué Penha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Răzvan Fințescu. The Lunáticos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Răzvan Fințescu should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Jurassic Monsters SA's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Fontes came free, but Denílson Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper Răzvan Fințescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josué Penha. Sebastião Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Răzvan Fințescu was a little too slow when Josué Penha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 72nd minute, Robinho Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper Răzvan Fințescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Josué Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Lunáticos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Mangueira. Jurassic Monsters SA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
