Thanks to some nice moves Fabiano Tatangelo could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Narciso Froylan however easily saved by the left post. 6 minutes into the game, Enzo Guaita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gladiator FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papillon AC the free kick. The supporters of Papillon AC booed when Gladiator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Guaita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Epifani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Friedman, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Milton Friedman scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Epifani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelio Epifani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Fernando Quintero in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milton Friedman in the 24th minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Epifani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Gladiator FC got a freekick which was hit by Amos Iacomini. After some careless play in the Gladiator FC defense, Timoteo Herrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Epifani. The Gladiator FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Epifani should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olli-Pekka Suoste in the 30th minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Epifani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Milton Friedman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olli-Pekka Suoste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olli-Pekka Suoste came free, but Aurelio Epifani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Olli-Pekka Suoste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Aurelio Epifani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Thanks to some nice moves Sebastian Driussi could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Aurelio Epifani however easily saved by the left post. Bianco Carozza hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute of the match Papillon AC got a corner. Gladiator FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Timoteo Herrera ran over to the corner to take the kick. Papillon AC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Timoteo Herrera in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olli-Pekka Suoste in the 74th minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Epifani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Epifani came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Papillon AC's Juan Fernando Quintero. But to his dismay, Juan Fernando Quintero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Aurelio Epifani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olli-Pekka Suoste, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Olli-Pekka Suoste came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Papillon AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olli-Pekka Suoste couldn't finish the play. After 94 played minutes Gladiator FC got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Carozza. Papillon AC played a much better game than Gladiator FC and deserved their victory. The Gladiator FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
