Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Conti in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Chesus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Emilio Conti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Chesus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 36th minute, Emilio Conti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alex De Toni fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merceron United's protests and gave Alex De Toni a yellow card for diving instead. Alex De Toni hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match.
