Spectators: 7542 (Terracing: 5658, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tiago Gabriel Damião made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Facopo FBPA defense, Ennio Guidoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enio Trigo. The Facopo FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enio Trigo should have stopped the shot. Enio Trigo came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Merceron United's Alex De Toni. But to his dismay, Alex De Toni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Alex De Toni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristoforo Iacomini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Tiago Gabriel Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Conti in the 19th minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Enio Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Emilio Conti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arrigo Di Crescenzo came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Enio Trigo could save by the left post. Alex De Toni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Enio Trigo made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Abel Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Alex De Toni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Salles. In the 34th minute Evaristo Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Iacomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Facopo FBPA's Enio Trigo got control of the ball when Alex De Toni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enio Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Conti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Facopo FBPA getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dé Fontes hit a great ball. Enio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Antonelli in the 42nd minute of the match. Arrigo Di Crescenzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Facopo FBPA's Enio Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Antonelli in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex De Toni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Abel Leal fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Facopo FBPA's protests and gave Abel Leal a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Di Crescenzo in the 54th minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Enio Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Guidoni in the 55th minute of the match. Cristoforo Iacomini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Salles in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Alex De Toni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Guidoni in the 66th minute of the match. Alex De Toni took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enio Trigo. Enio Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Abel Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cristoforo Iacomini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Ennio Guidoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex De Toni in the 75th minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Enio Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Merceron United got a corner. Facopo FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ennio Marcantonio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ennio Marcantonio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Enio Trigo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Emilio Conti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Alfredo Antonelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enio Trigo. Facopo FBPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Antonelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 84 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Salles. Facopo FBPA's Enio Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex De Toni in the 88th minute of play. Enio Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex De Toni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enio Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex De Toni in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Conti came free, but Enio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Abel Leal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. After 96 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Abel Leal. Merceron United's Alex De Toni got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Merceron United had played much better football throughout.
