The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Facopo FBPA defense, Duardo Pruniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enio Trigo. The Facopo FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enio Trigo should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, Aílton Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute Reces Bacheler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Facopo FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Salles to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Axel Linacre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Linacre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Vitório Bueno fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Facopo FBPA's protests and gave Vitório Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. Vitório Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Abel Leal's late challenge caught a Ornitorrincos F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Leal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ornitorrincos F.C. booed when Facopo FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enio Trigo came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Jaume Jarabran. But to his dismay, Jaume Jarabran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 20 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Reces Bacheler came free, but Enio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reces Bacheler in the 22nd minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Enio Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enio Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Bello in the 23rd minute of play. Facopo FBPA's Enio Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentín Bello in the 23rd minute of play. Facopo FBPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reces Bacheler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 36th minute, Valentín Bello made a precise shot to the right of Enio Trigo. Facopo FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Enio Trigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentín Bello went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Salles in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck César Bertrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Jaume Jarabran came free, but Enio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvinho de Lima hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. César Bertrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th play minute Valentín Bello came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Enio Trigo. 0-7. Valentín Bello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Enio Trigo made a huge save. Alipio Garbiso charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alipio Garbiso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ornitorrincos F.C. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Alipio Garbiso hit a great ball. César Bertrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Ancavil got free with Enio Trigo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enio Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reces Bacheler in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Salles in the 76th minute of play forced Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper César Bertrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ornitorrincos F.C.'s zone, Evaristo Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Bertrand came out of the goal and Evaristo Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Facopo FBPA defense, Valentín Bello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enio Trigo. Enio Trigo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Valentín Bello sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute of the match Ornitorrincos F.C. got a corner. Facopo FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Linacre ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eugênio Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Jaume Jarabran reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enio Trigo. The goal made the score 0-10. 94 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Reces Bacheler came free, but Enio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ornitorrincos F.C. played a much better game than Facopo FBPA and deserved their victory. The Facopo FBPA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
