Duardo Pruniel had several of the Rossobianco's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Bakar Gopala Pillai as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bakar Gopala Pillai made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Duardo Pruniel sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the game, Axel Linacre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rossobianco the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Ornitorrincos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Linacre to maneuver through the defense. When Salomone Zelada came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ornitorrincos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salomone Zelada couldn't finish the play. Bakar Gopala Pillai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reces Bacheler in the 13th minute. Nunez Endira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. César Bertrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Reces Bacheler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bakar Gopala Pillai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Jaume Jarabran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bakar Gopala Pillai. Bakar Gopala Pillai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Bakar Gopala Pillai made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Duardo Pruniel sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentín Bello got free with Bakar Gopala Pillai in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Axel Linacre got a free kick in the 39th minute. Gilberto Senen kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Duardo Pruniel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Bakar Gopala Pillai when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
In the 50th minute Nunez Endira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Bertrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bakar Gopala Pillai was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After having played for 60 minutes, Salomone Zelada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Salomone Zelada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 62 minutes, Alberto Marcones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rossobianco and the Ornitorrincos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Marcones hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Bakar Gopala Pillai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Linacre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bakar Gopala Pillai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duardo Pruniel in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper César Bertrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Ruy. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but César Bertrand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bakar Gopala Pillai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ornitorrincos F.C.. After 95 played minutes Ornitorrincos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Angelillo Fuente. Ornitorrincos F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
