The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Pablo Mouche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Fortun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristoforo Iacomini was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Ennio Marcantonio was slow to take the kick. During this time Merceron United's players had a chance to rest. In the 31st minute Javier Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Iacomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Cordairo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Cristoforo Iacomini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Onofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes Samuel Onofre rounded Merceron United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex De Toni to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Delgado came free, but Cristoforo Iacomini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Javier Delgado notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Merceron United's Cristoforo Iacomini. Cristoforo Iacomini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ennio Guidoni got free with Cirilo Micael in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cirilo Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Conti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ennio Guidoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Cirilo Micael made a huge save. In the 70th minute Emilio Conti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Delgado in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo Iacomini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Alex De Toni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merceron United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex De Toni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Micael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Ledesma kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Emilio Conti notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Pilar FC's Cirilo Micael. Cirilo Micael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Merceron United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
