A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Walmir de Queiroz hit a great ball. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when CD Suscal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xoan Golpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Asteguieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Leonel Couto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandro Asteguieta. CD Suscal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Couto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. CD Suscal's Xoan Golpe got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Daniel Elizondo fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Suscal's protests and gave Daniel Elizondo a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Elizondo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Naldo Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xoan Golpe in the 35th minute of the match. Naldo Mello made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ivan Echeto sent off a good shot on target. Xoan Golpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Dinei Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dinei Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
